FAQ

Everything you were wondering.

New here, or just curious — the honest answer to the things people ask most. Still stuck? Come in and ask us in person.

01

Starting out

Never done this before?

I’ve never done CrossFit — can I still start?

Absolutely — most people walk in having never touched a barbell. Every workout scales to you, and your first sessions teach the movements properly before you ever load them. You won’t be thrown in the deep end.

Do I need to be fit first?

No — you get fit here. A total beginner trains right next to a seasoned athlete: same workout, different weights and movements. We meet you where you’re at.

What if I can’t do a pull-up yet?

That’s the norm on day one, and it’s exactly what the coaching is for. We scale every movement so it’s challenging but doable, then build the strength and skills over time.

What should I bring?

Just trainers, water, and a willingness to give it a go. We’ve got the rest.

02

The training

How it actually works

How long is a class?

An hour — a coached warm-up, a strength or skill piece, then the workout. You’re guided the whole way through.

How often should I train?

Two sessions a week is plenty to start; most members settle into three to five. We’ll help you find a rhythm that fits your life.

What’s the difference between your classes?

CrossFit is the flagship — strength plus a varied workout. HIT is conditioning-focused, Lifting Club is dedicated barbell time, and EMOM Club is interval-style engine work. Most people mix them — see our programmes.

Will I get injured?

Good coaching is the best injury insurance — every rep is watched, loads are scaled to you, and we’d rather you build slowly than rush. That’s the whole point of coached classes over a generic gym.

03

Membership & pricing

The money side

How much does it cost?

Memberships start at $60/wk, with student rates and pay-as-you-go drop-ins too. Full breakdown on the pricing page.

Is there a lock-in contract?

No long contract — membership is month to month. We earn it every cycle, not with a contract.

Do you do drop-ins or casual visits?

Yep — class drop-ins, recovery sessions and concession packs are all on the pricing page. No membership required.

04

Recovery

Ice baths & saunas

What’s the recovery area?

A cold plunge and two saunas on an open-air deck — included on a Standard membership, or available as a drop-in or pack. More on the recovery page.

Do I need to book recovery?

Yes — sessions are booked so the space never gets crowded, and members get first dibs. First-timers get a quick run-through before their first plunge.
